Who are we?
NHE Gives is a nonprofit (501 C3) looking for donations to support deserving kids who will be introduced, play, and enjoy the great game of volleyball. Our focus is primarily for girls ages 18 and under. NHE Gives plans to use your donations to support players with club teams, developmental teams, youth training sessions through clinics and camps, an elite academy/club prep, skilled lessons, as well as needed equipment.
We are dedicated to supporting families and helping athletes receive the best teaching and training of volleyball in the Houston area. Our focus is to make sure every athlete gets an opportunity to learn and grow through the realm of volleyball, regardless of financial situation.

Love Like Evie $500 Scholarship
Honoring the Life and Legacy of Evie Greek
July 22, 2009 -June 10, 2025
Some people leave a mark on the world not because of how long they lived, but because of how deeply they loved. Evie Greek was one of those people.
Evie loved volleyball, track, water skiing, choir, baking and everything pink and aqua. While Evie had many passions, her greatest gift was the love she poured into the lives of those around her. Evie lived this out in every aspect of her life, whether she was volunteering with children through her church or advocating for the welfare of animals. Her kindness, compassion, and radiating spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
The Love Like Evie Scholarship celebrates athletes who strive to make a positive impact in their communities through service, character, and generosity. This scholarship is not simply awarded for academic or athletic achievement. It is intended for athletes who consistently choose kindness, demonstrate compassion, and serve others without expecting recognition. We believe that “Love Like Evie” means choosing compassion every day and we are honored to support athletes who carry that legacy forward.
Who can apply?
Athletes who demonstrate a heart for serving others, strong character, compassion toward people and animals, leadership by example, involvement in their school, church, or community, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Applicants will be asked to submit the completed applicant and parent information, a list of school and community involvement, a personal essay, and two references.
Application Deadline: October 1, 2026
Love like Evie. Every act of kindness creates a ripple. Every opportunity to serve someone else leaves the world a little brighter. Through this scholarship, Evie’s legacy inspires a lasting difference in the lives of others. This $500 scholarship is only applied toward an NHE program.
